Confirm the MODE hardware jumper J13 setting of the EVM and the load connections are matching
the MODE selection and the BRIDGE DIAGRAM in the Driver Control GUI screen. Do you want to
proceed?
DIAG Setting
Set the EVM hardware DIAG jumper J11 to the LVL position (LVL6 is jumper not populated)
suggested in the device datasheet for off-state passive diagnostics. Do you want to proceed?
EVM IPROPI Setting
Select the desired RIPROPI value using the EVM hardware IPROPI jumper J2. Do you want to
proceed?
Load Connection Warning!
Does the load connections match the below Bridge Diagram?
Caution!
With PWM ramp rates < 10, an abrupt bulk decrease with duty cycle or a change in direction could
cause VM voltage pumping above the rail until the inertia energy of the driven motor is
dissipated. It is possible the VM rail voltage could exceed the absolute maximum
specifications of the device and damage it as well as damage the VM power supply. Do you
want to proceed?

Warning!
With PWM ramp rates < 5, an abrupt bulk decrease with duty cycle or a change in
direction could cause VM voltage pumping above the rail until the inertia energy of
the driven motor is dissipated. It is likely the VM rail voltage could exceed the
absolute maximum specifications of the device and damage it as well as damage the VM
power supply. Do you want to proceed?

Independent Half-Bridge Control Warning!
With a load connected to PVDD and both the Enable Driver bit and the DRVOFF
pin are set to 1, the load
will
experience maximum RPM when the duty cycle is set to 0%.
For the load to experience minimum RPM, set the duty cycle to 100%.
Operation Mode Warning!
It is not recommended to change operation mode while driving the load.
EVM Firmware Update Available!
A new firmware update is available for the EVM hardware. Updgrade to the new
version using the
'Program Device' function in the 'File' menu from the 'EVM Home' screen of
the GUI.
EVM Configuration Warning
Please refer to the datasheet, EVM user’s guide, and the EVM schematic to modify
the jumper settings for MODE, SLEW RATE, DIAG, ITRIP
and IPROPI configurations. The jumper settings must be modified only when the
driver is asleep.
EVM Connection Warning
Going back to the GUI Landing Page will disconnect the EVM. Would you like to
proceed?
Please wait while the device connection is in progress...
