2.3. Boot Linux from SD Card

To boot an EVM to Linux from an SD card, the boot mode switches on the EVM must be set properly. Please refer to the EVM Quick Start Guide, section “Hardware Setup”, for boot mode setting:

• AM64x Starter Kit EVM Quick Start Guide

Once the boot mode is set, follow the procedure given in the EVM Quick Start Guide, section “Booting Linux”, to boot the EVM to Linux.
