2.3. Boot Linux from SD Card

To boot an EVM to Linux from an SD card, the boot mode switches on the EVM must be set properly. Please refer to the following Quick Start Guide for the specific EVM, section “Hardware Setup”, for boot mode setting:

• AM64x Starter Kit EVM Quick Start Guide

Once the boot mode is set, please follow the procedure given in the same Quick Start Guide, section “Booting Linux”, to boot the EVM to Linux.
